“Congratulations to this year’s Enterprise Video Awards winners,” said Rob Lipps, Executive VP, Sonic Foundry. “We’re honored to recognize these schools and organizations for the impressive ways they’re using Mediasite to challenge the video status quo. They’re at the top of their game, and shining examples of how beneficial having a video strategy can be.”

Global Reach Award: Florida International University College of Business Technology Center
“Lecture capture is becoming less of an additional benefit and more of a necessity. It adds that warmth and interactivity in an otherwise cold environment.” — Henry Dominguez, systems administrator

Innovation Award: TU Delft — New Media Centre
TU Delft created a do-it-yourself Mediasite lecture booth complete with a green screen, acoustics, a camera and a touchscreen guide to recording video.

Outcomes Award: Southern Cross University
“Mediasite has helped us bridge the gap by providing lectures to students, either as downloadable lectures or streaming.” — Tim Lane, manager of client services and security

Prolific Use Award: Villanova University College of Engineering
“Before Mediasite, we offered a static, in-class only graduate engineering program for local students. Now, we offer an integrated, fully asynchronous learning environment for in-class and online students in 23 states and six countries.” — Jeff Schwartz, director of e-learning

Rapid Adoption Award: University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine
“Before our Mediasite expansion project, our faculty were slaves to the schedule. Now they can record whenever they want.” — Alison Kwiatkowski, instructional designer

Technical Integration Award: Teikyo University
Teikyo University’s Mediasite deployment automatically and seamlessly captures hundreds of classrooms, ultimately improving student results.
