Professional Convention Management Association Partners with Sonic Foundry to Connect Meeting Planners Worldwide

Mediasite Events helps PCMA build membership, expand reach, increase relevance with blended events

MADISON, Wis. — January 12, 2015 — Sonic Foundry, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOFO), the trusted leader for video creation and management solutions, today announced the company’s Mediasite Events team will be used to webcast PCMA’s Convening Leaders conference this week in Chicago, in addition to several other PCMA events in 2015 and 2016.

PCMA represents more than 6,000 planner professionals, suppliers, faculty and students globally with 17 chapters in the U.S., Canada and Mexico and holds several professional development opportunities annually. Sonic Foundry’sMediasite Events team will live stream more than 65 sessions from PCMA’s largest event, the Annual Convening Leaders, – Jan. 11-14 in Chicago, Ill., allowing professionals unable to make it to the conference to attend online live or on-demand regardless of location.

PCMA hosts additional conferences and webinars annually for industry leaders, and all events this year and next will be supported by Mediasite Events, including PCMA Education Conference June 14-17 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
