UPCEA Partners With Mediasite by Sonic Foundry to Webcast First Online Learning Summit

All plenary sessions streamed via Mediasite and available via online conference pass

MADISON, Wis. – September 15, 2011 – Sonic Foundry, Inc.(NASDAQ: SOFO), the recognized market leader for rich media webcasting, lecture capture and knowledge management, today announced Mediasite by Sonic Foundry has partnered with the University Professional & Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) to webcast the first Summit on the Future of Online Learning this week in Chicago.

The Summit on the Future of Online Learning is designed to address critical questions about the rise of online learning and its impact on shaping the future of higher education. All plenary sessions will be streamed live via Mediasite for attendees who have registered for a virtual conference pass. These Mediasite presentations will then be webcast online in real-time to the live remote audience, and available for on-demand playback by both onsite and virtual attendees.
